Hi, I'm Bug Sommerness.I'm a digital artist form Minnesota. I graduate in 2024 with a degree in 2d animation from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.My work focuses on telling stories that explore themes of gender/sexual identities, mental illness/trauma, found families/forged friendships, and the complexities of human nature through fantasy worlds and creatures. When beginning a new project I go in with the openness to find the right medium for each project to best tell the story.I love fantasy and science fiction and creating mostly in that realm. I also enjoy the outdoors and wilderness so might notice that reoccurring in my work as well.
