Hi, I'm Bug Sommerness.I'm a digital artist from Minnesota. I graduated in 2024 with a BFA majoring in 2D animation from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.My work focuses on telling stories that explore themes of gender/sexual identities, mental illness/trauma, found families/forged friendships, and the complexities of human nature through fantasy worlds and creatures. My true love for creating is wanting to tell stories.I love fantasy and science fiction and creating mostly in that realm. I also enjoy the outdoors and wilderness so you might notice that reoccurring in my work as well.
